Quite, Nuno Ricardo.
Love is the antidote to fear, the only one. And yet, how many of us choose to apply it when scared senseless by life? When we most need it, how many of us remember it actually exists?
As for fear, my late friend Anthony had reduced it to an acronym, something likely to resonate with you and other poets:
False
Evidence
Appearing
Real
His take was that fear is a projection, a worst case scenario that may never come to pass so why squander emotional resources on it?
This poem doubles up as a PSA, and the world needs more of those.
