Quite, TWC, but unfortunately the “Trump blueprint” as I’ve come to think of it is something we see replicated ad nauseam online every day by attention seekers who would sell their own grandma to make a buck.
Alas, not all of those are randos on the make but actual media outlets for whom fact-checking is no longer the backbone of the so-called journalism they put out.
Even the term “post-truth” is starting to sound old when reality becomes a constant exercise in make believe.
Unless we take it upon ourselves to push back on an individual level, nothing will change. This is not a partisan issue but a national emergency. I believe the internet can help as long as we use it as a platform for connection and debate rather than an incubator for airtight echo chambers.
