I wonder how dispiriting it is for screenwriters to have to work on crap as part of the job, just to make ends meet…

The equivalent for me would be to crank out the kind of filler content stuffed with recycled opinions that is super popular on this platform, but even though I’m skint, I just can’t bring myself to.

And yet, those who’ve made it their stock-in-trade do brilliantly, as do screenwriters working on mindless shite that keeps people glued to their screens.
