Like you, I have a beef with the self-help industrial complex.

Unfortunately, there’s no shortage of people willing to pay through the nose for “magic” because it’s a whole lot easier than engaging your brain…

And you make a very important point: no matter how educated or smart, each and everyone of us is likely to fall for bullshit every now and then. The best insulation against this is to do one’s due diligence and check everything.

Lastly, kudos for keeping it real with your blunt, uncompromising tone. :-)
